Salted Maple Cream Latte

A decadent single-serving iced latte featuring rich espresso, cold milk, and a homemade maple syrup and sea salt cold foam topping.

Ingredients
  

For Salted Cream:
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream or double cream
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • pinch of sea salt
For Latte:
  • 1 Dolce Gusto espresso pod or 2 shots espresso equivalent
  • 1 cup cold milk
  • ice
  • cinnamon powder garnish, optional

Method
 

  1. In a jug, combine heavy cream, maple syrup, and sea salt. Whisk until soft peaks form.
  2. Place a spoonful of the cream onto the bottom of a glass.
  3. Add ice, then pour in the milk.
  4. Pour the espresso over the milk.
  5. Spoon the remaining cream mixture on top. Optionally add a sprinkle of cinnamon powder. Serve immediately.

Notes

The cream should reach soft peaks, not stiff peaks. Use cold ingredients for the best layering effect.
