Method
- In a saucepan, combine diced apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Heat until sugar melts, then add water. Cook until apples soften. Turn off heat, strain apples, and add vanilla extract. Let cool completely.
- If desired, froth 3 tbsp cream with 1 tbsp milk until thick (optional).
- Add Apple Pie Syrup to cup. Brew espresso pod into the cup and stir.
- Add warm milk, then gently stir the coffee mixture.
- Top off with frothed cream and drizzle with caramel sauce.
Notes
The syrup must be fully cooled before use. If you like sweeter drinks, use 2 tablespoons of syrup; otherwise, use 1 tablespoon.
